On Monday, 08-01-2011 around 1832 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of Business Hwy 75 and 12th St SW. 

Gina Louise Lawson, age 47 of Ireton, was southbound on Business 75 in a 2007 Nissan Sentra.  Stefanie Lynn Conley, age 21 of Le Mars, was eastbound on 12th St SW in a 2006 Suzuki XL7.  As Conley was crossing the intersection, Lawson ran the red light for southbound/northbound traffic.  As a result, the front of Conley’s vehicle struck the right side of Lawson’s vehicle.   

Conley reported possible injuries and was transported to Floyd Valley Hospital by Le Mars Ambulance. 

Each vehicle sustained approximately $5000 damage. 

Lawson was cited for Fail to Obey Traffic Control Device.


On Friday, 08-05-2011 around 1210 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to a hit and run accident that occurred in the 10 blk of Central Ave SE.  

Mark Randall Schleis, age 43 of Le Mars had parked his 1994 Chevy pickup in a parking stall on Central Ave SE around 1130 hours. When he returned to his vehicle around 1200 hours, an unknown vehicle had damaged the driver’s side mirror and there was a crease down the driver’s side door with possibly some white paint transfer.  There are no suspects. 

Damage was less than $1500.     


On Friday, 08-05-2011 around 1250 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the 900 blk of 3rd Ave SW. 

Susan Kay Irwin, age 42 of Le Mars, had her 2009 Chevy Malibu properly parked in a parking stall.  Jaimzi Mariah Neill, age 15 of Le Mars, was backing out of a parking stall next to Irwin’s vehicle in a 1994 Ford Taurus.  In doing so, the right front of Neill’s vehicle struck the left corner of the rear bumper of Irwin’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500. 

Neill was cited for No Valid DL.


On 08-06-2011 around 0300 hours, Le Mars Officers were advised of an intoxicated subject in the 1000 blk of Prospect St walking.  Officers located Curt VanWyk, age 25 of George, Iowa.  He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Plymouth County Jail. 


On 08-07-2011 around 1610 hours, Justin Lehner, age 25 of Remsen, was cited into court for an assault that had occurred in the early morning hours.  Lehner is reported to have assaulted another male individual in the 1000 blk of 7th Ave SE.


On 08-07-2011 around 0345 hours, Lerin V. Jurgensen, age 29 of Le Mars, was taken into custody and jailed on a charge of domestic assault, a serious misdemeanor, after he assaulted a female subject.   


On Monday, 08-08-2011 around 1144 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred near the intersection of Plymouth St and Business Hwy 75. 

Randy Jude Schiltz, age 40 of Remsen, was stopped at the traffic light on Plymouth St facing west in a 2005 Chevy Express van, which is owned by Wells Enterprises.  Roye Beene, age 63 of Le Mars, was also on Plymouth St directly behind Schiltz in a 2000 Ford pickup, which is owned by Plymouth County.  Schiltz’s vehicle had rolled forward to see if traffic was clear to turn northbound and stopped.  In doing so, Beene’s vehicle also rolled forward, but failed to see Schiltz had stopped.  As a result, the front of Beene’s vehicle struck the rear of Schiltz’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500. 


On 08-09-2011 around 1430 hours, George Cruz, age 27 of South Sioux City, Nebraska, was stopped for driving while barred for habitual violator.  He was stopped in the 10 blk of 1st St NE and jailed.   

During a probation check of a subject along with the Dept of Corrections, Alyssa Case, age 23 of Le Mars, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was also charged with unlawful possession of prescription medication.  She was jailed at the Plymouth County Jail on the charges. 


On Tuesday, 08-09-2011 around 2342 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the 100 blk of 5th Ave SW. 

Justice Deeann Franks, age 19 of Le Mars, was northbound on 5th Ave SW in a 2001 Daewoo Lanos, which is owned by Joseph Stoos of Alton, when she became distracted by reaching for a cell phone and lost control of the vehicle.   The vehicle jumped the east curb and struck a lamp post, which is owned by Mid American head on.  Initially, all four passengers and the driver fled the scene but further investigation quickly identified all persons involved. 

Each person received non-incapacitating injuries. 

Stoos’ vehicle sustained approximately $3000 damage.  Mid American’s lamp post sustained approximately $1000 damage. 

Franks was cited for Drive While Revoked, No SR on File, Fail to Maintain Control, and Fail to Report Injury Accident. 


On Wednesday, 08-10-2011 around 1150 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in Hardees parking lot. 

Muriel Jean Miller, age 60 of Le Mars, was traveling through the parking lot in a blue mini-van when a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am, which was being driven by Samantha Hope Reeves, age 19 of Le Mars, failed to see Miller’s vehicle and struck the rear driver’s side bumper. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500.   


On Wednesday, 08-10-2011 around 1252 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of 24th St and Lake Ave. 

Asael Joaquin, age 19 of Sioux City, had stopped at the stop sign on 24th St, facing east, in a 1995 Buick LeSabre.  Bradley Michael Dreckman, age 31 of Le Mars, was northbound on Lake Ave in a 1982 GMC pickup, which is owned by Greenway Lawn Care.  As Joaquin’s vehicle proceeded eastbound from the stop sign, he failed to see Dreckman’s vehicle coming from the south.  As a result, the front of Joaquin’s vehicle struck the left rear of Dreckman’s vehicle causing the vehicle to spin and land on its side. 

There were no injuries and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. 

Joaquin’s vehicle sustained approximately $1800 damage.  The vehicle owned by Greenway Lawn Care sustained approximately $4000 damage. 

Joaquin was cited for Fail to Obey Stop Sign and Yield Right of Way.

On 08-11-2011, Karlee Kunkel reported that she had left a load of clothes in a washer at the Red Hanke Laundromat and when she returned the clothes were gone.  Estimated value was $200.00. 


On 08-11-2011 around 1530 hours, Le Mars Police received a complaint of a couple of intoxicated individuals in the 10 blk of Central Ave NE.  Patrick Gigaroa, age 40 of Le Mars, and Daniel Arehart, age 23 of Le Mars, were located and found to be intoxicated. They were both taken to the Plymouth County Jail and booked on a charge of public intoxication. 


On Thursday, 08-11-2011 around 1820 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the parking lot of Willow Creek Country Club. 

Brian Patrick Castle, age 26 of Le Mars, had his 2002 Chevy Malibu properly parked facing south in the parking lot.  Richard Leo Kellen, age 77 of Le Mars, was backing out of a parking stall to the southeast in a 2009 Honda Odyssey when the left rear bumper of Kellen’s vehicle struck the right rear bumper of Castle’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500.     


On Friday, 08-12-2011 around 1135 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred near the intersection of Plymouth St and Business Hwy 75. 

Michelle Marie Martindale, age 31 of Shreveport, LA, was westbound on Plymouth St and approaching Business Hwy 75 in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.  Tyler John Niehus, age 20 of Le Mars, was also westbound on Plymouth St and approaching the same intersection in a 2009 Peterbuilt tractor/trailer.  Martindale stated that her vehicle was in front of Niehus’, but Niehus stated that he did not see a vehicle when he signaled to make a right turn onto Business Hwy 75.  As Niehus’ vehicle traveled into the turning lane on Plymouth St to execute the right turn, Martindale’s vehicle was traveling on the thru lane.  As Niehus’s vehicle was making the turn, the trailer struck the driver’s side of Martindale’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries. 

Martindale’s vehicle sustained approximately $5000 damage.  Neihus’ vehicle sustained approximately $100 damage.    


On Friday, 08-12-2011 around 2030 hours, the Le Mars Police Department received a report of a hit and run accident that occurred in Bellissimos parking lot. 

Amanda Susemihl, age 31 of Le Mars, had her 2004 Honda Pilot properly parked in the parking lot where it had received a scrape on the right rear quarter panel.  Susemihl stated that there was a teal colored, 4 door car who was having trouble backing out of the parking lot.  This vehicle does match the paint transfer that was observed on Susemihl’s vehicle.    

Damage was less than $1500. 


On 08-12-2011, Le Mars Police investigated a multiple personal injury accident that occurred at Bus 75 and 1st St SW.  Lauren Goss, age 16 of Alton, and Olivia Swindell, age 17 of Le Mars, provided false information to law enforcement regarding the accident.  They were each issued a juvenile citation for making a false report to law enforcement and released to a parent. 


On Saturday, 08-13-2011 around 1130 hours, the Le Mars Police Department received a report of an accident that occurred near the intersection of 12th St and Central Ave South. 

Susan Vondrak, age 66 of Le Mars, reported that she had been northbound on Central Ave and had just stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with 12th St South in a 2009 Toyota passenger car.  Stephanie Marie Avery, age 25 of Sioux City was directly behind Vondrak’s vehicle in a 2007 Hyundai passenger car.  As Vondrak proceeded from the stop sign, she stopped again for a funeral procession, at which time Avery failed to see that she had stopped.  As a result, the front bumper of Avery’s vehicle struck the rear bumper of Vondrak’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500. 


In the early morning hours of 08-10-2011 while at Floyd Valley Hospital, witnesses observed Gina McNabney, age 17 of Le Mars, to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The witnesses took possession of the paraphernalia and turned it over to Le Mars Officers.  McNabney was contacted and came to the police department to be cited into juvenile court on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.  


On Wednesday, 08-17-2011 around 0735 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred near the intersection of Business Hwy 75 and Plymouth St. 

Clint Bloomingkemper, age 62 of Rogers, AR, was southbound in the inside lane of Business 75 in a 2007 Kenworth tractor/trailer.  Kathryn Marie Albert, age 49 of Le Mars, was also southbound in the outside lane of Business 75 in a 2009 Ford Fusion.  Gregory Lynn Smidt, age 53 of Le Mars, was stopped for the stop light facing south on Business 75 in a 2007 Chevy Silverado pickup.  The stoplight turned green as Bloomingkemper approached the intersection and as he attempted to change lanes, he failed to see Albert’s vehicle in the outside lane.  Bloomingkemper’s front bumper made contact with driver’s side rear of Albert’s vehicle. This caused Albert’s vehicle to spin around in front of Bloomingkemper’s vehicle causing the tractor to strike Albert’s vehicle again along side the driver’s side.  As Albert’s vehicle was spun around, it struck Smidt’s vehicle on the right front side. 

Albert reported possible injuries and all persons were wearing their seatbelts. 

Bloomingkemper and Smidt’s vehicles each sustained approximately $2000 damage.  Albert’s vehicle sustained approximately $5000 damage. 

Bloomingkemper was cited for Improper Use of Lanes.   


On Thursday, 08-18-2011 around 1800 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the 100 blk of Central Ave North. 

Patrick Owen Hoebelheinrich, age 39 of Le Mars, was southbound on Central Ave in a 1987 Chevy pickup.  Emily Lynn Hutchins, age 20 of Le Mars, was also southbound on Central Ave in a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix.  As both vehicles were approaching the intersection with 1st St, Hutchins’ vehicle pulled into the eastbound turn lane traveling along side Hoebelheinrich’s vehicle.  Hutchins then decided to switch back into the thru lane and made an abrupt right turn in front of Hoebelheinrich’s vehicle striking the passenger door. 

Two passengers in Hoebelheinrich’s vehicle reported possible injuries. 

Hoebelheinrich’s vehicle sustained approximately $800 damage.  Hutchins’ vehicle sustained approximately $1500 damage. 

Hutchins was cited for Improper Use of Lanes.


On Friday, 08-19-2011 around 1244 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of 1st Ave and Plymouth St NE. 

Mark Bredfeldt, age 47 of Omaha, NE, was stopped at the stop sign facing south in a 2008 Freightliner tractor/trailer and signaling a right turn.  Susan Kay Peterson, age 49 of Le Mars, was directly behind Bredfeldt’s semi in a 2000, Dodge Neon and also wanted to turn right.  Peterson failed to see the turn signals on Redfield’s vehicle and crept along side the trailer to the right to proceed with her turn.  In doing so, Bredfeltd had started turning right, at which time, the trailer came in contact just in front of the trailer duals with the driver’s side of Peterson’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. 

Bredfeldt’s vehicle did not sustain any damage.  Peterson’s vehicle sustained approximately $4000 damage. 

Peterson was cited for Improper Overtaking on Right.     


On Friday, 08-19-2011 around 1350 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the Goodwill parking lot. 

Ashley Amber White, age 25 of Le Mars, had her1998 Chevy Cavalier properly parked in the Goodwill parking lot.  Marlene Agnes Krogman, age 66 of Le Mars, was backing out of a parking spot in a 1999 Buick Century when her vehicle struck the rear bumper of White’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500.   


On Friday, 08-19-2011 around 2140 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of 12th St and Hawkeye Ave. 

Caleb Spirit Ney, age 31 of Cleghorn, was eastbound on 12th St in a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica.  Barbara Jean Heeren, age 52 of Akron, was westbound on 12th St in a 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup.  Once at the intersection, both vehicles turned north onto Hawkeye Ave and in doing so, struck each other. 

There were no injuries. 

Ney’s vehicle sustained approximately $2000 damage.  Heeren’s vehicle sustained approximately $500 damage.


On 08-20-2011 around 0155 hours, Stephanie Schiebout’s vehicle was stopped on Bus 75 N for an equipment violation.  Stephanie Schiebout, age 27 of Orange City, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license for non-payment of Iowa fines.  She was cited into court and released to a responsible driver.     


On Saturday, 08-20-2011 around 2215 hours, the Le Mars Police Department received a report of an accident that occurred in the parking lot at Fieldcrest Apartments. 

Judy Ellene Oetken, age 59 of Le Mars, had her 2005 Chevy Impala properly parked in the parking lot facing north.  Lynette Irene Andersen-Johnson, age 46 of Le Mars, had her 1991 Cadillac Deville properly parked facing south.  Andersen-Johnson had backed her vehicle to the north and failed to see Oetken’s vehicle, which caused the left rear quarter panels to scrape on both vehicles. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500. 


On 08-21-2011 around 0406 hours, the vehicle driven by Kevin Brown, age 24 of Le Mars, was stopped in the 10 blk of 4th Ave SE.  Kevin Brown was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  He was jailed on the charge.  He was also cited for driving with an expired driver’s license. 


On 08-21-2011 around 0216 hours, a vehicle driven by William Hodgson, age 29 of Le Mars, was stopped for a traffic violation at 4th St and 2nd Ave SW.  Hodgson was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  He was taken to the Plymouth County Jail and charged with OWI 1st offense. 


On 08-21-2011 around 0315 hours, Officers were called to a loud party complaint at 812 2nd Ave SE.  Trace Plathe, age 20 of Le Mars, was found hiding in the back yard in a state of intoxication and in possession of alcohol.  He was jailed on the charges.  The Le Mars Police Department was assisted by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office. 


On 08-21-2011 around 0035 minutes, Officers received several anonymous complaints of Lindsey Weyen, age 20 of Chatsworth, drinking underage at Central Ports Pub.  She was found at that location having consumed alcohol and in a state of intoxication.  It was also determined she had presented someone else’s DL as her own so she could be served alcohol.  She was jailed on the charges of public intoxication, misuse of a DL and possession of alcohol. 


On 08-21-2011 around 2051 hours, a Le Mars Officer observed Matthew Specht, age 22 of Le Mars, operating a motor vehicle.  The officer checked the status of Matthew’s DL.  Matthew is suspended five times in Iowa.  He was arrested for driving while suspended, transported to the Plymouth County Jail and held. 


On 08-22-2011 around 1948 hours, a Le Mars Officer observed Heather Galles, age 34 of Le Mars, operating a motor vehicle in the 10 blk of 2nd Ave NW.  The officer was aware that her driver’s license was suspended. The vehicle was stopped and Heather was cited into court and released for driving with a suspended DL. 


On 08-20-2011 around 2315 hours, Le Mars Police received a complaint of an intoxicated subject in the alley behind the Red Hanke.  Casey West, age 26 of Omaha, was located at 1st Ave and 2nd St NW extremely intoxicated.  He was taken to the Plymouth County Jail and jailed on a charge of public intoxication.  


On 08-20-2011 around 1700 hours, an officer observed Brian Hemmelman, age 28 of Le Mars, operating a motor vehicle on Bus 75 and knew Brian to be revoked in Iowa.  He was stopped and was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a drug, in possession of marijuana and K2, and was driving revoked.  Brian was arrested and transported to the jail and held. 


On 08-22-2011 around 2205 hours, a traffic stop was made on a vehicle.  The driver, August Risner, age 22 of Sioux City, was found to have a valid warrant for his arrest for probation violation.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Plymouth County Jail and held on $1000.00 bond. 


On Monday, 08-22-2011 around 1740 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of 12th St and Holton Dr SW. 

Michael John Kunkel, age 49 of Marcus, was northbound on Holton Dr in a 1986 semi tanker.  Tammy Lou Anderson, age 44 of Le Mars, was also northbound on Holton Dr and directly behind Kunkel’s vehicle in a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am.  Kunkel’s vehicle was stopped at the stop sign and stated he had his turn signal on to turn right onto 12th St.  Anderson also wanted to turn right and stated she did not see a turn signal on Kunkel’s vehicle so she proceeded to the right of Kunkel’s semi.  As Kunkel’s vehicle made the right turn, the rear tires of the tanker struck the driver’s door on Anderson’s vehicle. 

Anderson received non-incapacitating injuries. 

Kunkel’s semi/tanker received approximately $500 damage.  Anderson’s vehicle sustained approximately $5000 damage.   


On Tuesday, 08-23-2011 around 1400 hours, the Le Mars Police Department received a report of an accident that occurred in the 1600 blk of 4th Ave SW. 

Joshua Hoyle Hedum, age 20 of Hinton, had his 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix properly parked on 4th Ave SW. Alice Bloemendaal, age 63 of Alton, was backing from a driveway in a 2010 Ford F150 pickup and failed to see Hedum’s vehicle.  As a result, the rear bumper of Bloemendaal’s vehicle struck the left front of Hedum’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500. 


On 08-24-2011 around 1320 hours, Robert Brock, 115 Plymouth St NW, contacted the Le Mars Police Department and reported that sometime overnight unknown person(s) threw a large piece of concrete through the front plate glass window of his office at the above address.  The office building is owned by Athens Real Estate. 


On 08-27-2011 around 1630 hours, Le Mars Officers were advised by the Plymouth County Jail staff that Tabetha had driven to the jail to visit an inmate.  A records check determined that she is barred in the State of Iowa.  She was observed driving away from the jail.  She was stopped and arrested for the violation.  She was jailed. 


On 08-28-2011 around 0125 hours, Le Mars Officers were called to Dinger’s Bar reference an unruly patron that was intoxicated and causing a disturbance.  Jeremy Adam Marsh, age 29 of Springfield, MO, was located in a taxi a short time later.  After an investigation into the incident, Marsh was arrested and jailed on the charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. 


On Sunday, 08-28-2011 around 0045 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the 400 block of 15th St SW. 

Parker Joseph Rolfes, age 16 of Le Mars, was eastbound on 15th St SW in a 2005 Ford Explorer when he reported that the steering wheel slipped from his hands causing him to lose control of the vehicle.  As a result, the front of Rolfes’ vehicle struck the rear end of a 2005 Chevy Impala, which was properly parked and is owned by Jacob Gengler of Le Mars.  

There were no injuries. 

Rolfes’ vehicle sustained approximately $1000 damage.  Gengler’s vehicle sustained approximately $3000 damage.  

Rolfes was cited for Fail to Maintain Control.       


On Monday, 08-29-2011 around 1304 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the Le Mars Community High School parking lot. 

Skyler Dean Kim Gries, age 16 of Le Mars, was backing out of a parking stall to the northeast in a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville when he turned too sharp and the right front of Gries’ vehicle struck the left side of a 2010 Honda Odyssey, which was properly parked and is owned by Kevin Westhoff of Le Mars. 

There were no injuries. 

Gries’ vehicle sustained approximately $100 damage.  Westhoff’s vehicle sustained approximately $1800 damage.       

On Tuesday, 08-30-2011 around 1520 hours, the Le Mars Police Department received a report of an accident that occurred in the parking lot at Le Mars Ford Mercury. 

Ronald Lyle Kallsen, age 73 of Le Mars, had parked his 2005 Ford pickup and trailer part way into the shop at Le Mars Ford.  Nancy Faye VanRoekel, age 59 of Hinton, had parked her 2009 Mercury SUV behind and to the left of Kallsen’s vehicle.  As Kallsen backed out of the shop, the rear of the trailer struck the front bumper of VanRoekel’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and damage was less than $1500.


On 08-30-2011 around 1300 hours, Shane Alan Saxen, age 18 of Le Mars, turned himself into the Le Mars Police Dept on two separate Plymouth County arrest warrants.  He was taken to the Plymouth County Jail and booked. 


On 08-30-2011 sometime between 0100 and 0500 hours, unknown subject(s) attempted to force entry into a locked storage box at the Powell residence, 845 8th St SE, causing damage to the box.  Estimated damage is $100. 


On Wednesday, 08-31-2011 around 1254 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred at the intersection of 12th St and Business Hwy 75 SW. 

Brittney Marie Huck-Gaborit, age 19 of Washta, was northbound on Business Hwy 75 in a 1995 Ford Taurus and approaching the intersection with 12th St SW.  Martin Patino, age 49 of Le Mars, was southbound on Business Hwy 75 in a 2000 Ford F350, which is owned by Herbst Construction and approaching the same intersection.  As both vehicles entered the intersection, Huck-Gaborit proceeded to make a left turn and failed to see Herbst Construction’s vehicle.  As a result, the front of Herbst Construction’s vehicle struck the right rear of Huck-Gaborit’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. 

Huck-Gaborit’s vehicle sustained approximately $4000 damage.  Herbst Construction’s vehicle sustained approximately $5000 damage. 

Huck-Gaborit was cited for Fail to Yield Upon Left Turn.     


On Wednesday, 08-31-2011 around 1820 hours, the Le Mars Police Department responded to an accident that occurred in the 900 block of 3rd Ave SW. 

Tricia Lynn Kunkel, age 39 of Le Mars, was southbound on 3rd Ave in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix.  Nathan Gerald Kessenich, age 14 of Le Mars, was also southbound on 3rd Ave in a 1996 Oldsmobile Achieva and directly behind Kunkel.  Chad Steven Pratt, age 14 of Remsen, was southbound on 3rd Ave as well in a 2000 Chevy Impala and directly behind Kessenich.  As Kunkel’s vehicle slowed to turn into a parking space, Kessenich’s vehicle had stopped behind her.  Pratt failed to see that Kessenich’s vehicle had stopped in front of his vehicle.  As a result, the front of Pratt’s vehicle struck the rear of Kessenich’s vehicle.  The front right side of Kessenich’s vehicle then struck the right rear of Kunkel’s vehicle. 

There were no injuries and each driver was wearing their seatbelt. 

Kunkel and Kessenich’s vehicles each sustained approximately $750 damage.  Pratt’s vehicle sustained approximately $2000 damage. 

Pratt was cited for Failure to Stop Safe and Assured Distance.
